· An anti-commemorative poem for an over-commemorated day ·

Yes, I know they’re out of order. I number them as I write them, not as I post them.

This limerical editorial is tetchiertetchy adj. Easily annoyed or irritated, peevish, irascible. “Perhaps coined by Shakespeare.” Perhaps my eye. I gave it first to Juliet’s nurse, but the Duchess of York has the better quote. Troilus got one also. [Richard III.IV.4] Techy than I would normally be willing to post, but today I’m entitled to vent my annoyance at the undiminished cranial density of the celebrating public.
